The Holy Father, on February 4, released an alteration to the “Prayer for the Jews” used in the Good Friday Liturgy, when celebrated according to the 1962 Missale Romanum. The new form was published in the February 6 Osservatore Romano, and in the February Newsletter from the USCCB Committee on Divine Worship. Both of these can be found with our current periodicals.

Safety First in the Library

- Guard your personal property in the Libraries. Keep you wallet, keys, backpack, and laptop with you when you go to find a book or to use the restroom.
- Show your CUA Cardinal Card when you enter the Libraries. You’ll also need it to borrow items.
- Visitors, please show a photo ID and sign in at the security desk in Mullen.
- Please present your bag to be checked as you leave the Libraries.
Thanks for your help.
Have Laptop, Will Answer Questions
CUA’s Librarians are going to be out again this semester, setting up in classroom buildings and dorms two or three times every week. Watch this space for updated schedules, or just keep your eye out for a friendly, helpful face. Say hi! Ask a question!
The Librarians will be at:
Caldwell Feb. 5, 1 to 3 pm
Conaty Feb. 6 2 to 4 pm
Pryz Feb. 12 1 to 3 pm (main floor)
Leahy Feb. 13 2 to 4 pm (CPIT lab)
Change in laptop loans
Starting January 14, 2008, there will be a change to the laptop borrowing policies at Mullen Library. Laptops will be loaned for a 4-hour period, rather than the current 2-hour loan period. No renewals will be allowed. If there are laptops available when you return yours on time, you may be able to borrow it for another 4-hour period.
We are making this change – at the same time that we are adding new computers – to try to meet the increasing demand for laptops while also recognizing that two hours is not an adequate loan period. If you have any questions about this, please feel free to contact the Mullen Library circulation desk at 202-319-5060.
